Potato People
Having read the book "Potato People" which was presented to us by our Australian friends, some students decided to make potato people themselves. They like the book very much. It is very touching and kind. Children said that their grandmothers loved them very much too!

We were really happy to get a package from our friends in Australia! Children enjoyed reading wonderful books by Australian authors and listening to traditional songs. Most of all they liked the book "The Potato People" and decided to make their own potato people too.
Thank you very much dear friends! We've sent you a book of Russian folk tales with translation. We hope you 'll like them too.

Teacher's Day
Teacher's Day
Today we've got Teacher's Day. As a rule it is a self-government day. On this day senior students teach children. They have their own director and teachers.
Besides today our students have elected school manager. They had two-week electoral company before.

Every year we have Health Day in September. We go to the pine grove and have fun - jump, run, play football, voleyball and other games. But the most popular activity is the competition between teachers and students - tag of war.

"Potato day"
On Saturday we didn't go to school. The weather was fine and people tried to gather potatoes because it was the first sunny day without rain in September.Potato is the main vegetable in russian menu. We can't live without it!:)

Ecological disaster
Our town is in danger. A lot of lignin (the waste products of biochemical industry) is burning near the town. And people have to breathe in this poisonous air. One day, when the weather was windless, the whole town was in smoke. It was like in horror films. It is impossible to put it out with the help of water. It is chemical reaction. Nothing is doing to stop this disaster.

Project "Space city"
Our city looks like a ball. Three thousand people live there. People travel by flying machine.There is a big zero-gravity sport centre and a stadium. People play space football, volleyball and other space games. They don't work. Robots work at the farms and factories. People help animals and people from other planets. They travel a lot and invent new useful things.

When he came out he looked pale and dazed. He said that he had seen something mysterious in the Great Pyramid and no one would ever believe him. What did he see?
