It is cold again - 44C!!! The sun can't penetrate frosty smog. It is really cold even in my classroom. Only three kids managed to come to school today - they live nearby. I'm looking for Christmas activity for my class and would like to find a partner class for skyping - just for 10 minutes conversation about Christmas. [Image]

Dear Lyudmilla,
Oh my! It is so cold! I would love to Skype with you, but I don't think our times line up? Maybe we could do something in January through movies/YouTube or something!
Stay warm!

-44 degrees Centigrade? Three students making it to school? Incredible! Its 28 degrees centigrade here at the moment in New Zealand and we really need some Spring rainfall otherwise we are heading into a drought! We'd love to Skype but unfortunately for us this is the last week of school and we finish this Friday, we have a break for Christmas and won't be back at school until the first week of February!
Dear Linda,
Thank you very much you agree to skype with us! Maybe it is possible to send our videos via e-mail or blog. Look forward to January! We have our winter holiday from December 28 - to January 10.
Merry Christmas,
Lyudmila

Dear Lyudmilla and Class,
Two of my second grade classes read your post about the weather. We can't imagine that kind of cold. How do you go outside? The children want to know what you must wear when you go out. We also found your town on our map! Unfortunately, with the time zone difference, when we are in school, you are asleep and vice versa! Hopefully we can stay blogging buddies and your students can comment on our blog sometime! Enjoy your winter holiday break and stay warm!

Dear Mrs. Hembree and class,
Thank you for visiting our blog and leaving warm comments!!!
As for the weather - we got used to it and wear warm clothes such as scarfs, caps, jackets and some of us wear valenki - they are woollen boots, it is never cold in them. But it is better to stay home in such weather. :))
Could you please give us your postal address? We would like to send you greetings from Siberia.(My e-mail - ldave@list.ru)
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year,
Lyudmila and class
